BD HSC Result 2023 Board Challenge (Rescrutiny) - পুনর্নিরীক্ষণ

Starting tomorrow, the application process for challenging Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) exam papers will begin. Today, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina officially unveiled the results of the HSC and equivalent exams for the year 2023 during an event at the Ganobhaban (People's House) just before 11 AM.

For students dissatisfied with their HSC or equivalent exam results, the opportunity exists to either apply for result re-evaluation or challenge the answer scripts. The application period for result re-evaluation begins on Monday (November 27) and extends until December 3 for SMS submissions. The application fee for each paper's result re-evaluation is fixed at 150 Taka.

A notice issued by the Dhaka Education Board today outlines the procedure for challenging the HSC result re-evaluation. It specifies that applications for result re-evaluation must be submitted via prepaid Teletalk mobile numbers. To initiate the process, students should access the messaging option on their mobile phones, type RSC, leave a space, input the first three letters of the board's name (eg, 'dha' for Dhaka Board), add another space, enter the roll number, add a space, and then include the subject code. This message should be sent to 16222. For students challenging multiple subjects, separate SMS submissions for each subject with the corresponding subject code (eg, 174, 175, 176) are required.

The Dhaka Education Board further clarifies that upon sending the message, a response SMS from Teletalk will indicate the deducted amount along with a PIN number. Students should retain the PIN number for subsequent steps. If the student agrees to the deduction, another SMS should be sent with the format RSC<>YES<>PIN-NUMBER<>MobileNumber to 16222.

The Education Board also specifies that the fee for result re-evaluation for each paper is 150 Taka. However, for result re-evaluation in each subject for HSC, the fee is set at 300 Taka. In cases where a subject has two papers, applications challenging both papers should be submitted. Importantly, manual applications for result re-evaluation will not be accepted.
