Bangladesh Education Board HSC Exam Result 2023

The much-awaited Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examination results for 2023 have been released, revealing a pass rate of 78.64% across 11 education boards in Bangladesh. The results were unveiled on Sunday, November 26, 2023, by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at her official Ganabhaban residence.


A total of 10,67,852 candidates have passed the examination, with female students outperforming males with a pass rate of 80.57% compared to 76.76%. The pass rate for nine general education boards stands at 75.9%, while the pass rate for vocational examinations stands at 94.41%.


Despite the overall decline in pass rate compared to previous years, Education Minister Dr. Dipu Moni expressed satisfaction with the results, highlighting the challenges faced by students due to the COVID-19 pandemic. She commended the efforts of teachers and parents for their support during this period.


Top Performing Education Boards


Cumilla Education Board emerged as the top performer with a pass rate of 84.78%, followed by Barisal Education Board with 84.31%. Dhaka Education Board secured the third position with a pass rate of 83.97%. List of Education Board Published Results :
